Farmville DVN greatly appreciates your donation, be it large or small.  Please note we are not a 501(c)(3) organization.  However, through our collaboration with Congregate Cville and Act Blue as our fiscal conduit, donations made to FDVN have non-profit status.  All donations are used to support the detainees and their families. We have no paid staff - it is an all volunteer grassroots effort. Please support us as you are able.

It is also helpful to Congregate Cville to have a heads up about large incoming funds so they can be

on the lookout for it and make sure it is immediately credited to the correct account.

How Donations are used:

• Funds for detainee phone calls to loved ones and legal representation

• Funds for detainee commissary purchases ($35/month, if requested by detainee)

• Support for travel expenses for the detainee’s family (there is also a free room available)

• Emergency family needs in exceptional circumstances - e.g. diapers and medicine, rental and utilities assistance

• Operational expenses, e.g. P.O. Box, website maintenance, domain registration, printed communications, etc.
