STEPS: https://www.steps-inc.org A Farmville-based organization that works to support those without housing. In the past, when able, they have helped released detainees find transportation back to their homes.

Driving:  here's a GoogleMaps link to Farmville Detention Center.

Bus: Southbound from Washington DC or Richmond VA by bus to Farmville, use Virginia Breeze Capital Connector.  Then taxi .(Northbound from Martinsville, Danville, or South Boston, use the same bus service in the opposite direction.)
